Who is The Korean Zombie?

Chan Sung Jung is a South Korean professional Mixed Martial Arts fighter and is affectionately nicknamed “The Korean Zombie”. This nickname comes from his gift of being able to continue to fight aggressively even after taking on heavy punches and kicks.

Jung specializes in Hapkido and Kick Boxing. His first professional MMA fight was in 2007 in Korea, fighting in Pancrase Korea and eventually in the Sengoku organization in Japan.

The Korean Zombie made his American debut in WEC 48 (World Extreme Cagefighting) on April 24, 2010. He fought Leonard Garcia, but lost via controversial decision. This fight was truly an EPIC battle, that it was awarded the fight of the night. However, it was such an awesome fight that many fans proclaim that this is “the Fight of the Decade” and may even be “The Best MMA Fight Ever”.

This fight certainly gave the Korean Zombie a ton of publicity and his fan base grew exponentially. He now has a massive following and his Korean Zombie T Shirt has become coolest and most wanted MMA T-shirt right ever. It’s been sold out twice in a matter of a few weeks.
